Business contractors or consultants work with clients to identify their needs and objectives, analyze their operations and processes, and develop strategies and solutions to help them achieve their goals.
Welcome to MVW-MSME Development Centre! We are a dynamic and innovative organization that values creative problem-solving, collaboration, and excellence in everything we do. As a consultant with our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique challenges and opportunities. You will use your expertise and experience to analyze data, develop strategies, and provide recommendations that help our clients achieve their goals and objectives.
Some of the key responsibilities of a business contractor or consultant include:
Analysis: Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the client’s business operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to address these areas.
Strategy Development: Developing and implementing strategies to help the client achieve its business objectives, such as increasing sales, improving efficiency, reducing costs, or expanding into new markets.
Project Management: Managing projects from start to finish, including identifying project goals, developing project plans, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure successful completion.
Implementation: Assisting clients in implementing new strategies and solutions, including training staff, creating policies and procedures, and providing ongoing support.
Evaluation: Evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and solutions and recommending changes to improve results.
MVW-MSME Development Centre’s standard calculation of billable man-months is typically based on a standard 40-hour workweek, and it is calculated by multiplying the number of employees working on a project by the number of hours they work in a month. For example, if a team of five consultants works on a project for a total of 400 hours in a month, the project would be considered as having ten billable man-months (5 consultants x 80 hours per month per consultant = 400 hours/month or 10 billable man-months).
